2000 Apex Award – Rice Hotel
The conversion of the Rice hotel from a virtually abandoned structure to a crown jewel in the revitalization of downtown Houston was a
monumental achievement.
2006 Apex Award – Harris County Civil Courthouse
The high profile building downtown Houston represents the pride the people in Harris County have in their civil Justice System. The
framing and finishing in this building reflect impeccable work by AFS through the ovals and domes.
2006 Apex Award – Brasozport Performance Hall
The drywall scope of this project was complex in that AFS was challenged with the task of combining curved walls with flat ceiling,
cured furrdowns, and angles furrdowns. This project is a perfect and unique example of AFS’ exceptional craftsmanship.
