Applied Finish Systems takes an active role in the community with special emphasis on children and their families. Our philanthropic activities are designed to improve quality of life, and give children in the community a strong foundation upon which to build their future.
AFS is a loyal supporter of Children At Risk, an organization committed to advocating for the rights of children. Children At Risk's goal is to enhance the investment in children and to prevent problems through better planning, resource allocation, and accountability.

An annual scholarship is given by AFS to an economically disadvantaged college bound student who demonstrates academic achievements, an outstanding attitude, and a will to excel.
AFS is a corporate sponsor of The Rice Design Alliance (RDA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of architecture and urban design in the Houston area.
